alrighty then... sharky came over to show off those damn stacks (sharky is stacked now... he looks very manly) and talked about the silencer ring on the turbo. i got a hair up my *** and tore the damn thing apart to take the ring off. much to my dismay i see there is not one to take off... any idea why?

Perhaps that beveled piece is the so called "ring" on the newer engine. I say rip that bitch outta there and see what happens.

it looks pressed in there like a mothu trucka is pressed into his wranglers! i don't think it's comin out right now. oh well... i can always look into getting a new turbo for it!

 

what about the nub on the left side of that pic, looks like a clamp fixture without thescrew,bust that 'rivet' and it should come out, mine did
