Default 12V Injectors

Hey, I'm new here and am going to be having lots of questions. I'm getting ready to swap my 1989 Cummins Diesel and 5speed into a 1981 half-ton. Right now I'm trying to figure out what needs to be done while I have the engine out. I'm already planning on an intake and 3" exhaust, but was wondering what injectors would give me a little more fuel to go with all the extra air. any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

There was something about an afc spring and pin that would give you a little extra power. Can't seem to find anything on it, anyone with better luck?

Thanks, both of those helped and gave me some new info. How high can the 1st gen rev to safely? I can't afford to be breaking things while still paying for school.

While you have the engine out, check to see if you have the "killer dowel pin", look it up. This has nothing to do with performance, but if the pin comes loose it will KILL your engine. It should be easy to fix while out of a vehicle.
