Two weeks ago we went on vacation taking the new truck. The trip was from Houston, TX to Red River, NM, approx 2,000 miles round trip.

I had read an earlier post were someone commented on the Dodge seats being uncomfortable, I now agree. I also remember someone posting a method for improving the seats by adding additional foam which is my next project.

Really, I took my truck from Phoenix to Medford Oregon all up California witht he family and we loved it. the seats were great, sumer trip so did not even use the seat warmers.

 

Mine are very comfortable. My brothers 2004 Laramie was very uncomfortable I don't know if there is a different design.

 

Mine is the 05 laramine and like I said above, I love them.

 

I wonder what the difference is between mine and my brothers, 500 miles in his and my back is killing me. 1000 in mine and I still good to go

 

I got to agree that the seats in the Dodge are comfy. We took the in-laws Duramax from OR to CO last week, also about 2,000 round trip. After about 400mi I was ready to walk. There seemed to be a huge hole in the lower back of the seat.

Would have loved to take the Dodge, but needed the longbed to take their camper also.

 

IMO Chevy does have the most comfortable seat. Dodge has the best truck though

 

I did 1600 miles over the 4th weekend and was surprised I didn't hurt at all when I got back, my Dakota would hurt the back if I didn't use a lumbar support cushion

 

I think the seats are very comfortable.

 

Maybe the seats in Chevy's are like what it seems they are in Dodge's. Hit or Miss. My father-in-law has complained about the seat in that rig since the day he bought it, or shortly after. I have been in others that I don't remember being that bad, but that one hurts to look at it now.
