From the looks of your seat, he rides along often. Dark cloth+white dog= fuzzy seat covers. It looks like it is going to be an enjoyable trip.

Looks like its going to be a great day, a long day, but still a great one. Can't wait. I kinda want to buy my leveling kit before I go but I'm running out of time before I can get it installed. Steve, you still got those shocks? I might want to talk price with ya about them when I see ya. Anyways, looking forward to getting the schedule of events. I'm making the trip to sac on friday to see my grandma and then heading up to meet everyone, should cut some of the drive down on saturday.

Make sure you stick around for the 5th, that's the day we're testing suspension systems in Sacramento. You might change your mind about a leveling kit and go for acomplete suspension system.

yup, shocks are still available...

The plan will be to meet in Rocklin @ the Raleys shopping center at Horseshoe Bar Road at 8:00~8:15 to give everyone time to get any last minute goodies @ Raleys. We'll need to leave by 8:15 or so....

Then we'll head up to pick up the other 3 at the hiway 20 & I80 (they're coming from Reno) by about 9:15 or so... If we can hit the road by 9:30 then that will give us plenty of time to explore along the route.

I think what we should do is have designated stopping points along the way to allow everyone to catch up in case they decide to stop for some reason (pictures, scoping out camping etc...)

I plan on providing a detailed map of the route so that no one will get lost. My suggestion is to pack a cooler with sandwiches, drinks & snacks,.. pack a tool box, get a couple of cans of "fix-a-flat" from the auto parts store (just in case...better to have & not need than need & not have). Make sure you have your tire changing tools (jack, lug wrench etc)

Should make for an awesome day...

There are a lot of trails like that in the panhandle area of FL. A pass is $10 a year and it covers approx 350K square miles. From Panama City to Pensicola and the beach to I-10. Dirt trails and some mud holes. I also saw some up in North Alabama/ South Tennessee but didn't really check them out cause my good wheels were in the garage while I was up there. Try checking around major power lines, usually trails follow them here in the east.

This is one of the smaller holes we found to play in.
