Made my first long run today (Little Rock Arkansas to Beaumont Texas and back) and straight stacks are way too loud. Which should I go with?The Aero turbin underneath for $249.00 or the mufflers that fit into the stacks themselves for $50.00 a piece. Anyone else running stright pipes?Or can shed some lite on it.

 

What year is your truck, I am running with no cat or muffler on my 05 and I love the way it sounds.

2004-K & N intake-Stacks. I will post pictures when at new address. Phone getting cut off this week. Sound is great till you spend 9 hrs in it on the hwy.

 

I'd go with the aero under the cab. If you get the mufflers in the stacks, they can possiblyhold water in them (depending on the internal design).
