Dealer "Tune Up"
Yea if need I got all of Mayfairs photos still, Savin em so I know more bout installing FASS if I ever get it, Kinda break time for college ( and might get fourwheeler instead) Just going to chip/Air intake and alrdy did straight pipe it for now I think
your on the same boat as me as far as college. i am selling my YZF 450 to make a lil money for the stuff on the truck as well. i am gunna see what they say at the dealer today as far as the lift pump and maybe installing that FASS system soon. If not, im holding out for a while.

went to the dealer...
they say $150 for tranny fluid with filter change
$80 for front and rear diff fluid change
$60 for t-case service and fluid change
$120 for coolent service and fluid change
$48 for the lift pump to be checked out on the computer...
soo if i have it all done im looking at around 450 for the service and may get a little discount thats to a client deal..
we will see whats happens wednesday when I go in...

I'd go for having the lift pump checked and do the rest of the work myself. Some of those prices are INSANE !! Probably the only other thing that you may want to have them do is adjust your valves if you don't feel comfortable doing them. Other than that, get to know your dodge and do the other work yourself. None of the things listed are hard to do at all.

what exactly does adjusting the valves do?
It takes the slop outta them and tightens everything back up.

I am very very NEW to the diesel world. So for this time I think ill have the dealer do it. And next time, get one of yall to help or go to my buddy's shop and have the show and do process...
