Default Exhaust/ warrenty?

Hey guys am new here, have been just reading the forums for months now.My dad has an 06 ctd. with the 6spd. and wants to do either a free flow muffler or straight pipe it, but really wants to get rid of the cat. Will this void his warrenty?

most likely it will. It really just depends on your dealer. Some will let you get away with it, some won't.
The few I've talked to said they'll only accept a cat-back system.

Staights on my 01".... dealer never even mentioned it, even sold me the extended at purchase. Course it is in a hick town.... not many keep any type of restraints on!
