Default Still pretty slow on take off.

I have the edge with attitude, high flow drop in, aero where cat was and some aftermarket muffler in place of the stocker. If I jam the pedal from a dead stop the rpms and truck speed start to increase very very slowly and then BAM boost shoots up and off she goes. In my 2wd 06 this was not nearly as noticable although there was certainly some turbo lag but it was completely stock and it was better off the line as my current truck. I have recently been reading about "torque managment" on these trucks and was thinking maybe it is different on a 4x4? Anyone know anything about it?

Slow on take off? what? I thought our inferno red ones where supposed to be the fastest ones made, ahahaha .

Does this "torque managment" you are refering to have to do with automatic trannies?

I wouldhave thoughtyour 07 vs your 06 shouldhave feltabout exactly the same (even though one was 2wd and the other is a 4wd),apparently not though.

Bothare 06's with autos. Basically same exact trucks just different build dates and new one is 4x4.

Not sure on that. I've never seen it in the automotive side before. Seen it several times in the semi's, one engine just seems to be a runner compared to the other.
