Anyone have pictures or website on moving the Grommet and Air Restriction Gauge. Got a new filter system and have to take old Restriction Gauge off and the way I'm doing it I'll prob break it

 

I'm not even totally convinced that that thing even works. I don't think I've ever seen it move.

 

Yea I've noticed the same. I'm tempted to just put a bolt and washers and then find some rubber to seal it instead

 

just yank the thing out. besides it takes so little vacuum to make it move. I put in a brand new filter(stocker) and pulled it to the red after one hit of the throttle.

I got it out finally. I can feel a little difference in my stocker and this new K&N. I'm mainly after it for the milage. Next is very persay.......Edgeeeey

 

Since more than 1 of us is thinking along these lines lately, I called Ken at Kens Performance about a possible group buy / discount. He told me that Edge is very strict on their pricing and therefore it doesn't matter if you buy 1, or 100, the price is the same.

Whats the cheapest you found an Edge EZ? I havent been lookin alot but seems whereever I look it just says 98-00 and 02. Told the 00 and 01 are the same

 

Well auto anything says they will guarantee the price for a year, I don't know if it was a mistake on their part and they put up the wrong price but I got my edge w/attitude from them for 600 or 650 so maybe with my reciept you could get it down, because I see they list it at 8 something now. I was looking around and they had the best price by quite a bit when I bought mine and then a week later they were up to the same price as everyone else. I bought mine in late December/ early January.

 

That's just it, I don't think you're GOING to find it cheaper anywhere. Edge has a STRICT number on what you can sell their product for. If you try to go below that number, you'll no longer be able to sell their product PERIOD. It's a good thing for those little guy's who go above and beyond for their customers and yet get beat out because some bigger named companies sell it cheaper. PROPS to Edge !!

When I'm ready, I'll order it from Kenny. Drew actually turned me onto him and he's a pretty cool guy. He actually called me yesterday just to make sure that I got his email. When was the last time your comapny did that for you? PROPS to him !!
