Default Smell of Clutch!

After driving in the city not really hotrodding but alot of shifting I seem to smell my clutch a little. Could it be that it's slipping and I should get a new one? Also It seems after i got water in my tranny and such It's a little stiffer. Could it just be the oil in there and I should change out and try something different. Before I flushed it again with new oil and it had some water in it. It shifted really smooth. I'm running Penzoil Sencromesh right now. Considering Royal Purple/Ams Oil/ or Dealer oil. Also bright side of thing talked to the ams oil guy going to switch over to synthetic engine oil next paycheck. Woo Hoo!

it mightbe a good thing to dump the oil again. . .the NV5600's are VERY picky about the oil. use the wrong stuff and it will fry itself in about 100 miles.

also about the clutch. . .since it got wet you may not have the full holding capacity.

Well, the clutch has done it even before it got wet. So I believe that it's getting bad and less and less responsive sorta deal. Also On my tranny yeah I'm going to do it next oil change I believe it'll be alright for the time.I plan on checking it tomorrow when I reflush the transfer case. I just really can't find any tranny oil other than dodge. What kind of tranny oil would it take if I went through ams oil. I don't think I'm going to put the penzoil back in it. Plus I'm not a big fan of autozone. I like NAPA and they don't carry it so... Reckon I'll give the ams oil stuff a shot.
