Guage codes
I ran a guage check the other day and after it did it's thing, I got this message "C-Code 64 31". Anybody have any idea what this is supposed to mean? I haven't had any problems with the guages (except the identified occassional "check guages" light flash). Thanks for your help.

that one has me. . .I dont have much on the C codes. I believe they are chassis codes for the ABS/speed sensors/airbag stuff.
might need a code reader for this one.

Alright guys, I'm making headway on this one. The 64 refers to the code (which in this case deals with the driver's door power window assembly) and the 31 refers to the amount of key cycles since the code was tripped. Now my question is will these codes clear if I disconnect the batteries? Thanks.
nope. . .on these 3rd gens the ECU has non-volitale memory. meaning it will store codes untill the problem doesnt occur after 5 full starts. you can disconnect the batt all you want, they arent going anywhere unless you get a code reader.
