Default A/C off but water leakink out of fire wall

I posted a similar thread but got no answers....I have an 05' 2500 (Diesel) that has water coming from the A/C drain in the fire wall and the A/C is turned off. I do have the air temp on cold and the fan is on 1st position but the A/C button is not engaged. Does this mean that the A/C compressor on all the time and is that effecting my mileage??

a/c compressor being on wont effect your mileage too much. . .where do you have the distribution selector set at. it you have it on defrost the compressor will automaticaly come on.

The selector is set on the second position (feet, chest) usually, I will keep an eye on that and make sure. Thanx for the advise.
