Default Leaking Fuel rfon top of water seperator cansister.

My deseil truck is leaking feul from the top of the fuel/water seperator canister. We changes the filter and replaced the o-rings and seals. It is still leaking. Any suggestions?

Only thing I could think of would be that the "O" ring must be cut or not seated good. It does not take but a small cut on a "O" ring to make it leak. Ifit was not flush with the top when you screwed it on you could have cut it a little bit................

What's been said above plus..... That cap is made of plastic, I would think if it was overtightened it could crack pretty easy. It also would be pretty easy to cross thread which would not let it seat the o-ring properly.
