hello all, i mentioned in a previous post about putting a leveling kit in "da rig", i just got back from the tire shop and we couldn't find where to adjust the lights downward, i thought instead of me crawling all over, i would ask the forum to guide me to the right way of doing it so i can tell my tire guys, thanks for any help.

 

Don't hold me to it (it has been a while since I took my headlight out), but I think there is like maybe 2 screws and a "pop-in-and-out" type fastner that hold the head light in place. I think the pop-in-and-out thing screws in and out, so you can screw it in more or less depending on the angle you want. If I was driving the truck I would run out to the parking lot and look to tell you for sure (I have to drive the dumpy bimmer today).

 

Just find the 2-3 screws that hold it in and remove the headlight, you'll figure it out how to adjust it when you can see all of the mounting locations.

I didn't adjust mine after my leveling kit, when I come over a hill at night you should see all the cars swerving all over the place . I can see for ever though with my brights on.

HEADLAMP ALIGNMENT









1.
Turn the headlamps ON and select the LOW beams.

2.
Rotate the headlamp vertical adjustment screw (2) on the inboard side of each front lamp unit housing (1) to adjust the beam height as required.
