Default Rim Adapters

Does anyone know where to get the 8-10 lug wheel adapters that allow you to put the 22.5 semi tires on a Dodge RAM? I saw this on a recent episode of "Trick my Truck" but they never said where to buy them.

You can make a set out some 1-1/2" 6061T6 aluminum plate.

I missed the ice cream truck. they re-run that show about 10 times per week. I'm sure I'll catch it again. AWhat about the interior panels they did on that Dodge? Do you know where they came from? I hated the orange and silver they did on tv, but liked the interior upgrade.

They wear like iron but they will shake the fillings out of your teeth on a rough road and they do not have as much traction as a light truck tire.

Maybe that's why I only saw them in Florida and I don't see them up here huh?

They are a real hard compound (long wear and less traction)
Stiff sidewall and tread (horriable ride)
They will take the FL heat under a load though and are more resistant to damage from palmetto stumps (after a brush fire palmetto stumps are very sharp and will kill a normal tire in a heartbeat)
In snow they would be like driving on ice skates.

PS If the roads in PA are as bad as the last time I was there they would shake the glass out of your mirrors.

They add to much rolling weight and would slow the truck down too, but it's just a fad, it too will pass, what next low profiles on a 4x4 with doves
