Default 04 Bigger tires?

Hi there.

I have a 2004 dodge ram 2500 QC 4x4 with CTD. Wondering what is the biggest size of times people have been able to get away with at the stock hight.

I have the 17 inch chrome clad rims.

As I recall, people have put on 33s with no lift. That would be a 185 or 195 metric size.

The 285 295 numbers are refering to the width of the tire not the diameter so you can't go by just those numbers alone. With no lift, on the stock wheels, you should be able to get away with 33" diameter tire. As far as width goes, you shoud be shooting for something like 12.50"or less. Some examples of acceptable tire sizes would be 33X12.50R17 or 305/65R17 or 285/70R17
