Sorry Exhaust ????
ok iv called myself looking for exhaust questions on the forum but most iv foudn was for a gas motor. i was wondering whats a good exhaust to run on my 6.7. i was looking at banks but they havnt come out with anything yet. i have seen a few ppls sigs with a 6.7 where they cut the mufflor off and had a straight pipe from the cat back. i was curious if i could do this and put a Y in there after the cat and run duals out the back. i love the dual pipes but if i cant do nothin but a single that would be kool. i believe my stock is a 4" exhaust so im looking at gettin a 4" buta 5", but not sure if i can put a Y and then run the 5" pipe behind that. anywayz any help would be nice. also i do plan on running other stuff like program, intake, all that good stuff. so hopefully a 5" wouldnt be to bad to have. thanks
Your kinda limited for exhaust cause of the DPF, I think your best bet would be cut the muffler out and put a chunk of pipe in there. IMO dual exhaust is strange on a oil burner unless they are stacks.
realy themost you can do is a cat back if you want duals. if you do remove the muffler dont be surprised if you dont hear any difference due to the DPF and the CAT.
