Just to add a little to the 4wd question, 4wd wont disengage until you lift off of the throttle. You can shift back to 2wd but you will really be in 4wd.

 

Even though he won, I'm sure he's pissed that the race was that close.

Thanks! Tow haul is the way to fly, 16.98 down to 16.656. Never got a chance to run in 2wd because it started to rain when I was in the staging lane, maybenext time!! Yeah he was claiming 12.9-13.1[:-] so I was happy to go below 17 with a 500lb leer on the back. I asked if he wanted to try next week against my 1970 455 GS and he walked away!
