Default Steering parts under warranty???

Today i noticed that part of the steering, not sure if its the stabalizer?, that one of the rubber gromets(if thats what there called) is broken and half of it is sticking out. The part is a rod that has threads on it and goes to the whole steering assembly. would this be covered under warranty?, if not is it an ez change,, $$$,?????

it looks like you may have a lift on your truck. . .chances are it wont be coverd for the simple fact of that lift. now if you dont have a lift they may replace it. however all it is is a dust boot, you may be able to find one at napa or autozone.
