Does anybody know if it's possible to put a turbo from a 2005 CTD on a 1999 CTD? I have a 1999 and my friend is thinking about getting a 2005 and putting twin turbos or some sort of performance turbo on it. I've heard that the 03 and up have an electronic turbo controller and mine has a wastegate. Would this be a big problem?

 

I think they have different mounting bolt patterns but I'm not sure.
