Do you think I should start useing 1/2 an ounce per gallon instead of a whole ounce and see how things go?
Thats the mixture I use but without an EGT. I'd like to know.

Why are you freak'n out bout your Egt's mayfair? If they're not in a danger zone then it should be ok right? I'm guessing if you haven't noticed it before then it's probably not horribly screwing up your truck. As for your mileage. What you getting? I think I remember you stating you got around 15 a while back ago? Is that still what your getting.

KG, I'm not really freaking out, just pointing out something that I've noticed.

My mileage is right around 14.5 mpg, about 12.8 towing.I just installed my edge Comp box last week and I'm hopeing it'll help me get a little bump there.

additives are not needed for the 2007 ond newer models.

older (eralier) models should have some sort of additive for lube if your are pumpin the ULSD crap found at most stations now.

if you can get actual diesel #2 lsd then your do not need the additive.

egts??? whos got time!!!!

as hard as I try,I am not able to reach under the hood at stop lights and take the temp of the turbo or other exhaust areas... arms aint long enough i guess!!!
