it doesnt drain entirely, there is a little fuel still in there, but the best way to clean it oout is to get some paper towels and clean it out that way.

Drew I bought a good supply of the 7micron fleetguard filters from Geno's, Do you think that doing the filter every 7500miles is overkill? I know 15,000 is the recomended but I want to keep my diesel happy.

7500 isnt overkill. . .15,000 is a bit long, I usualy change mine out 8-9K
