Ok, mental note to self, no drag racing.

 

I've always wanted to have a spankin new 5.9 on an engine stand that I could completely build up myself so that I knew it was bulletproof. Where did youend up getting your new one? Do they have more? I'd have to sell a lot of my toys and really pull some strings to be able to afford one, but it has always been my dream.

 

I'm curios, how much horsepower were you putting out between the mods and having it tuned up that high?

 

That's EXACTLY what I'm gonna hafta keep saying to myself when my Edge arrives. As a matter of fact, maybe I'll print out a picture of that piston and stick it on my visor right in front of my face.

 

if I remember correctly he was putting a bit over 400 to the ground when that happened. . .newly rebuilt and untweaked rebuild and nails 590hp. . .I can only dream right now

 

Almost 600HP! Good lord. Mods aside, was running it down the strip a couple of times that much more stressful than towing a heavy trailer? Or was it the fact that the tuner was set aggressive?
