what's even better is what rpm range that engine runs at which is most likely very low so imagine what the torque numbers have to be for the HP to be that high

 

most of those liners have the same engine trains use. . .all the props are run from electric motors.

Not the same engine as the QE2 but this is the largest diesel in the world. Each cylinder is 1820 liters and 7780hp!! Also if you read it actually gets better fuel/hp rating than a small engine.
