i am a regular at the 3rd gen but i need some help over here,my buddy has an 2001 ram 3500 with a 24v cummins,he has an torque enhancer chip,the problem is when you start the truck the chip blinks four times an then stays lite like normal but as soon as you hit the throttle the chip shuts off,if you shut the truck off then start it it does the same thing,checked all fuses wires, power,ground,came up with nothing.any help anyone can give me would be great.thanks alot for all the help

 

need to know who makes the chip. . .sounds like there may be an issue with the box itself.

 

take the box off, see if it still does it. If not lose the box..

 

JVD enginreering,its not the truck thats shuting off, it's the chip

 

never heard of that one. . . . .see if there is some tech support somewhere. sounds like you have a busted box.
