Default plan of attack

ok well i worked a fair bit this summer so i have some money burning a hole in my pocket so iam gearing up to put 4 guages in 3 on the'A' piller i think it is and 1 on the steering coloum. tranny temp, pyro, boost, fuel pressure.

i was thinking while i am doing it i should buy a few things. like a intake manifold so boost guage can install there. bigger tranny pan, there is a temp port on it to i dont need to tape into coolent line and maybe a new exhast manifold for pyro gauge.andFASS system for sure while i am at it.

all of this is gunna cost me around $2500 cad

i want to do this because more mods are on the way like injectors turbo beefed up tranny etc.

just wondering the best way to do this. by the way i am installing all ofthis my self and i am only 15

Finny, Kansas?? I wanna do alot of the same but first going to just start with gauges. I priced the 4 guages and the pods at around $530. I will prob buy them during sec semester of college and install them.

by the best way i mean do i bother with bigger trannsmission pan, intake/exhaust manifold. or do i just hook up too a stock set up.

at the age of 16 in BC you get an L wich means you can drive but with some one over 25 or somthin. i dont drive in vancouver but we own a cabin in northern BC were i drive alot. dont get the impression that i am some rowdy teenager. i drive with my parents consent and most of the time they make me drive.

Don't worry about the intake, exhaust and trans pan. Just get the gauges in first. Then maybe a FASS system. Everything else will hold out till it's time to put the power goodies on.

Yeah, I agree with Jake, get the gauges and the FASS first. The rest will come later as you "mod along"

LMAO "C to the eh"

I would do guages then some tires. Tires would definately set your rig off.

Jakes right, just worry abou the guages for now. The rest of the stuff can come later...As far as the Tranny coolant line, I got the 3rd gen version of this from Diesel Manor. Its a breeze to install. Since I've had it in for a few days, you really see how the temp changes in the oil flow while you're driving as its giving you the temp of the oil as its leaving the tranny to get cooled.
