What's with all the key words that if you get near them you get a pop up window.

 

it's advertising at its best (worst IMO)... there is a way to disable it but I cant remember how to...

 

Ok you can go to profile and pick simple flat style and lose the key words , but you can't see avatars

 

hehehehe just use firefox w/ a good add blocker plug-in There is a setting in IE to turn all the stuff off - - if I can find it I'll post it.

 

Found it!

OK In IE click on Tools and select Internet Options. Then click on the Security Tab. Click the Custom Level's button. Scroll down and set "Active Scripting" to Prompt.

Now WARNING there are a lot of things on a web page that are scripts. So you may load a page and say No to enable scripts and find something you want to use is not working. So reload the page and enable it.




Or do the easy thing - - stop using IE

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ - - use the Ad-Block Plus plug-in and so many of those anoying little ads will just go-away!

 

My way is easier and it doesn't screw with other pages that need scrips.
