Default Stock Nano Air Filter Replacement

Hello,

I agree that my engine is starving for air and have fallen victim to the oiled vs non-oiled air filter debate. I am inclined to side with those that prefer the non-oiled air filters. While I think that I would prefer to have a disposable air filter; I don't think that any better disposable filters exist that will increase air capacities and still be a replacement to fit in the factory box.

So, I think that I am settling on the Amsoil Nano technology filter. However, I have only found regurgitated Amsoil propaganda that are only positivies toward the air filter technology.

My driving style is mostly 40-75 mph on pavement except for a twice daily trip of about half mile up a dusty dirt road. Also, I don't want to spend the extra money on any CAI devices.

Are there any negatives towards this filter? If I buy the Amsoil AE Air filter, am I doing a good thing? Will it fit my useage style?

Thanks

I have an '07 Ram 5.9L with Edge EZ

I'm also happy with mine. I do mostly in town driving but have taken the truck on a few road trips and am very happy on how easy it is to clean the filter.
