LOL .... I TOLD YOU you'd dig it Steve !!

I'm glad you finally got it and you like it. It's one of those things that you just won't undrstand fully until you have it yourself. Once you see how well it's made your fears will vanish. That mod has got to be one of the best tings I've ever done to my truck.

I like that oil catcher thig that you got Steve. What do you do, fill it up and take it back to Walmart for disposal?

I fill it up and take it to Kragens/Shucks, they recycle oil. It is really a sweet containter. Last time I was able to have my little woman take it there where as before it was stricktly my job (too messy for her)

I think gas stations usually take oil correct?? I usually take mine to my dad's house and he gets rid of it with his, so I'm not sure.

My dad just digs a hole in the yard and pours it in there and then covers it back up with dirt.....

J/K hahaha , he takes it somewhere, I just don't know where.

I just bought three Fram Sure Drain kits, one for each of my vehicles. $6.00 apiece on EBAY vs. $21.99 from JEGs.
These come with a detachable hose like the one described in this thread and also has a screw on dust cap, which should answer the concern of the plug accidently coming open.

Regards, Glenn

Great setup Steve! Imagine that, draining almost 3 gallons without spilling a drop!!
It's like a dream. I go through half a roll of paper towels, and oil soaked hands every change. You're making me feel stupid Steve!!!
Cheers
Mike
