I have 3.73s on mine how big of a tire can I go to with out sacrificing to much torque? I pull a 36 ft 5 th at about 13500 lbs +
I don't know how large of tire diameter you can go inorder to not sacrafice torque??I would think that you could easily do 35's or so at not notice to much of a difference with the 3.73's. However, with the size load you are talking about you may not want anything but the stock tiresbecause oftheir load capacity, unless you can find some 35's or whatever that are still E rated. My 305/65's areE load and they haul really nice. I pull a 14,000 lb load on a"deck over" bumper hitch trailer every once in a while and I can't really tell the difference between the new tires and the stock ones.
Hey guys, I just joined this site and am interested getting some info. Can you pass along information regarding fuel mileage for a 2008, 3500, reg. cab. dually, 4x4, manual with 3.73 rear. All advice is much appreciated.
