Default Valve Cover

Well....I took my first shot at paiting the valve cover. I wanted to use a silver also to match my truck, but the color I bought looked like crap, so I sprayed it black. The blue doesn't show very well in the picture, it's a darker blue. I'm sure I will paint it again at some point, but so far I'm pleased with it. It's drying tonight so it will be installed tomorrrow. Let me know what you think.....

That came out nice. When you masked it, did you wait for the paint to dry before taking off I assume tape for the masking?

No, I took the tape off as soon as I was done spraying it.

Yeah...it's the stock plastic color. I just went to the local hardware store and found this Krylon Fusion Plastic paint. I only found that stuff in the blue and the black, the silver I found was just some plastic paint that sucked. I wanted to put some more color to it, but until I find some better paint for the silver, it will stay like this.
Here is the type of paint I used. Not sure if it's the best, but it's all they had, so for now it was fine.
