exhaust change out advise

alright guys i got nothin but stock on my whole truck and i want to start changin little by little. i want to put a 4' turbo back on but i want to buy a straight pipe system. no muffler no cat. Any suggestions. be easy though my pocket book aint all that deep thanks.

I would suppose you have a 12 valve. . .there are many systems out there from bully dog, banks($$$$), MPRB, silverline. . .the list goes on.
one thing you can do right now is get some gages if you dont have any, boost and egt is a good place to start, with a tranny temp gage for the auto's. then crank that star wheel up a bit and slide the fuel plate around in that P7100 and you all of a sudden have a different beasty

Dont know what year truck you have but on my 05, I went with the MBRP muffler replacement and am very happy with it.
If your truck is earlier than 03, I believe, the stock exaust is 3.5". Might consider replacing from turbo back.
Gauges should be considered as a first mod so you can keep tabs on the improvments.
