I have had it with my Edge! Just to see if anything changed from running the "mileage" program, I put it back to stock (0) and did a 312 mile trip that I've done many times before at the same speeds and RPM's. My mileage went from 15 to 20.1 WTF!! On the return trip, I got 19.0, both times hand calculated. I started to think the fuel guage was broke cause it hardly moved! I have just over 22K on it.

Before you 86 the Edge... Were you using fuel from the same source? I just recently found out that my truck gets wayyyyy better mileage and runs better on fuel from a little local Exxon station than any other source in the area. I was buying at truck stops and BP, Shell, and other big name, high turn overplaces. I went to this little corner station that I had gotten good mileage out of before, and bam 1.5 mpg gain, and my truck is running better! Try running the chip and fuel from wherever you just got the good mileage from, just to confirm.

 

I get my fuel from a place that sells a lot of diesel since I bought the truck. Even when I took the trip back east, I stayed with name brand fuel.What I don't understand is why the improvement in mileage when I turned it back to stock. I got this kind of mileage when the truck was new with out any mods at all. Yesterday I went from SLC, utah to Boise, Idaho to get a car for a friend and got 19 going there with an emptytrailer and 13.8 pulling a 4K car and 2K trailer on the way back.
