the deal is completely useless threads that start out not on the topic of this particular section. . .what is deemed a useless thread by one, is seen differently by another. we all get along great here and I do enjoy the comedy side we get in here, however more clarification is going to be needed. There are a few questions being asked of the admins on this. Untillwe get this clarification, and answers,on what constitutes an off topic thread we need to hold off on the off topic threads in this section.

I hope this wont cause anyone here to leave. Just like most of you here. . .I see this as my home away from home.

I would have to agree that the OT threads are somewhat humorous around here at times and make the place a litte different than all the others. Kinda more friendly, I guess you could say. I dont come here for the technical stuff all the time, and I very seldom venture to other areas of the board than the Cummins Diesel Section. I guess it is the FUN of this place that keeps me here, if you take out the fun, it is no different than any of the other Diesel boards with questions about "which exhaust to buy? Which programmer is best? or the countless other repetitive questions, that get asked and no one answers because it has been asked so many time.

What if everyone that posted something "non-technical" just added "OT:" in front of the title of their thread, then those not looking for off topic posts can ignore them. Would that satisfy the "higher-ups"?
OR
Can the off-topic forum be a direct link from this forum somehow, instead of having to sort back through everything else to find it everytime.
