Received my predator from GodRamIt today, got home, installed it. Just went for a test drive and holy crap I can not belive it is the same truck, I chirped 2nd gear with 35's, I have so much more freakin power now and I have it on the 100 hp tune, not the extreme tune. I need to get guages now and then it is time to stack with the power puck. I am so freakin impressed.

 

I hated to get rid of it but I needed gauges and wanted a change. so I got both.

JUst remember you are suposed to get better fuel mileage on peformance, if you can keep your foot off the little pedal

I can't tell if I'm getting better mileage with my predator... having way too much fun!!!![8D]If I ever decide to stop smoking out intersections and filling ricer interiors with clouds of the "dark side" I might see an improvement. In the "tow" mode .. I see a drop in EGTs and tranny temps,when towing, no improved mpg. I use mostly the "economy/performance" mode EGTs are a little lower, tranny temps about normal. The "extreme" scares me...

Some are reporting improved mpg in "tow", some get better in "economy" while others say better in "extreme" as for me, economy is showing best results.

My duaghters squeal everytime I smoke out an intersection or ricer, the wife she just gives me the " what ever..." look, but deep down inside I know shes' saying.. "more smoke!!!" [sm=devilgrin.gif][sm=devilgrin.gif][sm=devilgrin.gif]

 

Easy now Jimmy, you cant break the truck of the month, while its still the truck of the month! Haha, just kidding, smoke'm if you got'em! Wish I could squeal mine on dry asphault, but as of now, its just a dream.

I got better mileage on the performance tune. That is one thing I miss. the black cloud. the Quad race module doesnt smoke hardley at all. But it is better on fuel

Cool, I want to keep going with performance mods(turbo, pressure box, injectors), but I keep thinking I should ignore my desire for power and go with more useful stuff (exhaust brake, shift kit, lift pump gauge, mechanical boost gauge) I have to get a mechanical boost gauge because the boost fooler gives me an incorrect number on the outlook(its an '06 thing because of the electronic wastegate or something) [:@][:@]Ahhhhhh! I NEED MORE MONEY!!!!!!!!!

 

be carefull with the pressure boxes. . .only use pressure if the rail is starting to drain. . .and to help on the low end power.

too much pressure will lead to cracked injectors and a blown pop-off valve.
