engine light illuminated on me today while on the freeway during rush his afternoon!!!!!


DAG NABIT!!!! (ok I cussed a bit more profane like).



got it to Dodge as quick asI could. called in some favors from some good guys I know there. the CTD mechanic found his stone age computer scanner and hooked it up. stupid alt is over chargin everything due to the volt regulator malfunctioning again!!!!! [:@]


at least it didnt cost me a dime...

now I have to find a good unit to install...napa or carquest is what Im thinkin...

yes sir. an archaic one, but it is there.

the connections for the scanner are under the hood.

the old style tester was powered by the truck battery. he had to search for the proper scan card for the unit too.

Damn. I always got told that the older trucks couldn't be scanned. Would have made life a lot easier at times if I knew that.
