here's the thread about the new ATS... keep in mind Bob is basis because he does work for ATS and is friend with the people that own it. I didn't look realy hard but, I believe it does show an inprovement over the stock intake but, if you ask me... that's not hard to do :-)

you know what would be awesome is if we could get owners of each, Banks, ATS, CFM+ and this new AFE to get together and dyno them all on 1 motor. each would have to yank theirs off for the testing but it'd be worth it. I'd yank mine to help out... I'd even volunter my truck to do the testing...

sorry Steve.... I guess that was the post and it was about the AFE. You're right... I would be nice to see dyno's from all the manufacturers. The problem is.... why go through all the work changing them out only to find they really don't do much anyway. Also, if you do find the best one and post about it.... you'll only be helping the manufacturer make more money that you won't see any of[:@] dyno time ain't cheap !

IMO... one could do more by putting their cash into other things to gain power long before they'd need a intake. Thery do look cool though :-)

You can be sure these companies have already done this themselves. If one outflowed the rest by a measurable margin you would see there ad stating as much. Just my opinion.

Anyone ever tried making their own? Maybe similiar to like the Swanker Intake, that never became a reality?

It would seem like a pretty simple build with the proper equipment, or access to the proper equipment.

apparently, someone beat him to it with the design, (or stole it) not 100% sure

I'd still like to test all of them against one another on a modded truck...
