Default exhaust

Iam trying to make my truck loud as possible i cant straight pipe it because it is an o7 . I have no cat,no silencer ring, gutted the intake with an k&n filterand a 12 inch dynomax muffler that stops right behind the cab but it still dont sound right. Just wondering if anyone has tried a chambered muffler and is it louder or quieter than a straight through. Anything else i can do to make my truck louder

Then you can straight pipe it no problem. The emissions junk that you can't remove is on the 6.7.

Mine is straigh piped and sounds great, you don't need back pressure. You're truck isn't going to sound any differentfrom mine.

Engines, even the same type are different, I had an old 66 Chevy straight 6 that you could not keep a muffler on and it was just as quite without the muffler as it was with it on, I put it on for inspectiononce a year and withing 2 days it would drop it, I 'll stop and put it up till next year.

Now I had a Chevy Nova wagon with the sameengine and you couldn't stand it without a muffler and it wouldn't run as good either
