Did Dodge ever get it fixed?
OK, we all know about the problems Dodge had with HUGE holes appearing in the dash panels of their 2001 models. My question is, did Dodge eve get this problem fixed, andare later models immune from this problem? I'mcontemplating making the switch from gasto diesel, but if Dodge hasn't fixed this problem, I'll be looking at brand "F". What say you folks?

dont do that. just cause the dash falls in doesnt mean that u have to go away to the f!!!! u will regret that over a stupid dash. the new one(like from what i know..i own an 04 cummins) dont have that problem. plus..ford has a ****y turning radius.
I had a 2001 Ram until last year. Never had any dash problems. I live in AZ where it is hot and dusty. About the worst conditions and zero problems. On another forum there was a poll on those that had problems or not and whether they used cleaners like Armorall. Turned out the vast majority of those with dash problems were using cleaners that contain chemicals that are known to dry out plastics. I used water only.
