Universal Joints. the two "X" looking things at the ends of the drive shafts. Erock509, do your tires rub on your bumper or cab corners? We have nearly identical trucks. What performance upgrade(s) are you looking at next?

They sure did. I just trimmed out part of the plastic on the wheel well that connects to the bumper and it no longer rubs there. The previous owner had actually shaved part of the cab, which I dont like but i fixed up pretty good and its fine. They just made the lower cab part more rounded.

As far as more upgrades, I just spent a bunch on the ones I did so not quite sure whats next. I was thinking of stacking the bully dog with the banks 6 gun, but that wont be for a while. Some lower price mods, maybe the boost fooler or the banks high ram. What about you, what do u think?

The tripdog messes with timing and pulse width, so they say if we stack it with something that the other something has to be a pressure box, (i dk if the six gun is a pressure box), otherwise they would be doing the same thing. I think in time, I'm going to go: new turbo, lift pump, then either the mp-8(pressure box) or injectors or both. I think after the turbo I will haveno choice but to do major transmission upgrades. I'm currently trying to order a shift kit that is supposed to help the tranny a little bit and costs $60 bux. You tightened your bands, correct? how much of a difference did that make?

What shift kit are u getting? And yes it made a big diff. I didnt do it when I serviced the transmission, which I should have. So I only adjusted the front b/c the rear u have to remove the pan. Before when I hit it, the truck wouldnt go anywhere and just blew out a bunch of smoke. After I adjusted the front band as instructed, the thing takes off like hell with no slipping at all.

TransGo 48re shift kit. Steve showed me it andrecommended it over an aftermarket valve body. Maybe I'll adjust my bands first. Can you power brake in your truck?
