Default Recall notice... Park lock

got another notice in the mail, this time they gave me the option of sending back a reply that allowed me to tell them thanks but no thanks... Hopefully they will leave me alone now on it.

Because its a "safety" recall, I had to call DC Canada directly with my vin # to decline the recall.

what part of the park lock are they going to recall? My truck doesn't always slide directly into park, but will as he brake is released.

What with this them giving you the option to decline? How can they make you do it, and what if you don't?

it's not really an option, on the card I sent back there were 2 boxes, 1 being that "my truck was inspected and found to be in working order" or something like that. so I checked that box and sent it back.

I guess I can check the box that says my truck was inspected and found to be OK.

I just wonder will that take out of the list to have it done if I go to the dealer, I'm hoping if they check the VIN it will say it's done and they leave it alone.

You try it first and let me know Steve LOL, maybe to make sure we should get some train horns and put a latching relay on it, if they set it off they will be hard of hearing before they figure out how to shut them off.

Since I live accross the street from my dealer, I can sitat the houseand laugh my head off, maybe they would find a way of removing it real quick
