I was poking around under the dash of my truck and found an alarm/remote starter that I didn't know it had- just bought it last week. It says "Commander Model 7000 Plus, 4 Channel Alarm and Remote Starter." The key fob that came w/ the truck is generic- jsut lock, unlock, A, and B buttons. But it doesn't do anything except lock/unlock. Anybody know anything about this thing? Who makes it? Programming? Anything?

 

Don't know what model starter I have but I have to press and hold start button for a second or two. Try that with the A or B button. hope that helps.

I think I figured out the remote start part anyway. I was checking fuses on the thing and when I put one back all my lights started flashing and the chime dinging. It finally quit but would start up again every time I touched the brake pedal. No horn though.It finally stopped that but I'm not sure how. I figured out I have to hit the A and B buttons at the same time to start it, but I had tried that before I checked fuses and nothng happened. So maybe there was a bad connection somewhere.

May be anybody have electrical scheme for install alarm "Commander 7000 plus"?
because unfortunately I have pull out this alarm from my stratus. and I don't now how it connect back.
I tried looking here http://www.commandoalarms.com/tech.htm manual for install - but they don't have manual for "7000 plus".
