Well, I am getting close to my first oil change here in my new CTD and had decided to go dino oil through the next change as was recommended by many on the forum, but....... when you get 12 quarts of Amsoil DEO 5W-40 and an EAO filter for free for your birthday, what are you supposed to do? Its going in this weekend. Woo Hoo!!!

My Dad also paid for me to be a dealer as well, not preferred customer but dealer, As soon as I get settled with that I may be able to give the hook up??

 

I would wait and let it break all the way in , if you haven't pulled a load with it you haven't broke it in, I got mine used with 27 thousand on it and figured it was broke in, but the mileage sucked till I started pulling 5ooo lbs in my trailer for a week and my mileage went up and I figured by 34000 I finished breaking it in, but I still waiting till 50 thousand to be sure and that's just around the corner.

Give your engine time to break in or it never will with AMS Oil in it
