I haven't had that problem. I have had to take it in for the check engine light a couple times though. Give them a little time and they get it worked out.

this is the second time I had to bring it in for the check engine light. the first time they told me its because its a new engine. they need to update it. second time my egr (exhaust gas release)sensor was supposetly dirty, they need to flash inaditional program. now my truck feels like it doesn't have the same amount of power like it did before when I tow. the dealer has my truck again right now because of that. I gotta say I'm getting a little pissed at dodge right now.I really like the truck, it tows beautifully, the new tranny feels great, but this computer problem is really annoying.

My 'check engine' light comes on intermittently, but I have not had any symptoms. Mine has about 5,700 miles now. I know my engine computer is two software versions behind, but I don't feel like bringing itto the dealeruntil something is really wrong.

got my truck back, same as before...CRAP....told me everything is fine..no duh, whatever last flash they did on my trucks computer, its like they totally de-tuned the engine or something. I know theres nothing mechanically wrong with my truck, its whatever new software their coming up with thats in question. will try taking it to a diferent dealership, and if that don't work, I'll try to make them take it back under the lemon law! those of you out there contemplating on the new 6.7. learn from me...stay away from it!!!!

Ireally love mine too until they started messing with my computer with new flashes. I just want them to get it right. So you have no issues with yours?

Dennis,

Sorry your having problems. I know it is frustrating. [:@]

Fortunately for me, I've not had only relatively minor issues. I had a new turbo and the AU flash at 4700 miles (no symptoms other than CEL). I've had no problems with the CEL or turbo now for 1100 miles. I've never had any problems with the DPF or EGR. I also did not notice any performance loss with the new flash. I was hoping for some MPG increase, but did not see that either. Still getting 15 city and 18 hwy.

I get pretty much those same exact mpg. I'm just wondering if its dodge who can't get there new flashes right, or just the dealership. I will try a different dealership this week, hopefuuly they will be better. will let you guys know the results.
