Default Power Wagon Fender Flares

Can the Power Wagon fender flares be painted? Seems like I read somewhere that they cant.

depends, i've never seen em are they textured or pretty smooth. if they are pretty smooth i'd think with a bit of light sanding you could easily paint them. I painted the flares on my wrangler because they were faded and now they look great and that was like six months ago and still all good.

I believe they have texture to them. Something like a like a very light coating of Line-X or equivalent.

If they are the OEM ones, dodge claims them to be paintable. I too have thought about adding them but I think they are a tad pricey.

IIRC the powerwagon flares are textured and would take a lot of labor to get them paint ready, DC Parts sells a paintable fender flair, easy to do... sand a bit, degrease, seal, paint... I did it myself and it turned out A+.
