Default UUUUUUUGH .... I come home to a dead Ram !!!

HELP !!!

I got home last night after 17 hours in the saddle and 625 miles. I rode straight from Myrtle Beach home instead of stopping for the night 1/2 way like I did last time. The way I have the bike sety up, it was so comfortable that it didn't bother me at all. It was AWESOME !!!

Anyway ...

I got home last night at about 3:30 AM, so I just put the scoot in the garage, took a shower, said my "hello's" to my ladyfriend ( ) and went to bed. This morning ( now ) I go out to move the Ram so that I could wash my bike after having it rained on for a week and the Ram is dead.

Zip - Zilch - Nothing ...

I guess I'm going to need batteries, and I'm gonna need them right now. What kind do you guy's reccomend ? Shoud I get those new fangled sealed type batteries that look like a 6 pack? I don't know squat about batteries so whatever you've got pass it on.

OK, I'm going out back right now to hook up the charger. Hopefully I can get the truck fired up and off to get the batteries. Lemme know what kind I should get.

Is it just me, or does this kinda crapalsohappen to you guy'safter you come home from a relaxing vacation?

OK, it says 770 CCA @ 0 degrees and 950 CA @ 32 degrees

I currently have 2 batteries from Sams Club club called XLT model DT34. They were made in March of 2004.

Can you get / do you have what I need?

Sounds like you've got thehook-up with the Optima batteries, but I'll throw in my $0.02 ... I would shop warranty vs. price ... generally Interstate brand comes in #1, with Die Hard a close second...

Sounds like you had a good time on your trip... I hear you about the long stints in the saddle... for the 2007 Sturgis rally I rode from Seattle to Billings, MT without stopping. Once stopped I was ready for a frosty beverage and a hot-tub. It was like 814 miles. yikes.
