Mayfair, I dig the solid rims and kinda ape hanger bars. Sweet bike. I have a 03' Honda RC51. I will try to post some pics sometime soon. If I was in the market for something other than a sport bike, I would check out that suzuki M3 boulivard. Very good looking bike, fast, and reliable. The engineering of the motor came from the hyabusa. I have had the chance to ride one and I will get up and go and very comfy. The Harleys are nice, but for the money and reliability you can usually buy 2 jap bikes that will last twice as long and go twice as fast. Hate to say that but sadly its true. On the other hand, if you are looking for a great resale value, go with a Harley.

This was the one that magically became my CTD when I gave it tothe dealership along with$25K.[sm=boohoo.gif] Before that I had a 99 Fat Boy like Mayfair's but Red and black and no ape hangers. I didn't have one single problem with either Harley. They both got 40-45 mpg even though I couldn't control the urge to twist the throttle. The price of used ones have really come down since there are so many out there. You can pick up one that's a year or two old all chromed up a lot cheaper than new.

That's a good lookin scoot you got there. I'm glad to hear that you ride it as well. Too many scoots spend too much time in the garage.
Thanks. Unfortunately, its going to have to stay in the garage until this heals up. I get the pin taken out towards the beginning of next month -- just in time for the snow.

I ended up separating the extensor tendon from the bone. In order for it to heal, the doctor shoved a rod down my finger to immobilize it for about 6 weeks. Oh well, this gives me reason to take the truck out more.

i've got an '04 victory kingpin.
My buddies got a Victory. He's actually had 2 of em now. He started out with I think it's called a 8 ball or something, and now he's got a Hammer. I actually bought my Fatboy from him after it was about 6 months old so that he could buy the Victory.

Here they both are ...

There are a LOT of good bikes out there these days. I don't care what type of bike you ride, as long as you're in the wind. I will say though that the more and more American jobs are lost to overseas workers, the more and more I want to buy American reguardless of the cost. It's getting harder to do, but I try.
