Default Chip

I have a buddy that has a chip on his truck called Dr. Performance.It just plugs in to the trucks computer. He thinks it is causing some shift problems. Has anyone heard of that brand before.

Ive heard of them. . .I believe they are a pure pressure box with limited timeing. . .if he yanks it out and all the problems go away then you know.
