Ok guys i trust you better than the ford guys for an answer. I have a megacab diesel so this is for a friend. He has an 05 ford 6.0 with programmer open exhaust and airraid intake and believe it or not in 65000 miles no problems. his only problem is the speed limiter it stops at 99 so when he its that i pass him we want to know how to remove it so he can blow the doors off a friends piece of 6 cylinder mustang like i did with out programming. thanks guys any help would be appreciated. What programmer does he have.

 

If he wants to beat you with a 6.0, first you need to tell him to remove his wiper blades and pull a real truck up under them and reinstall. At least now he has an excuse, if he removes his speed limiter then he has no excuse other than the obvious. [8D]

 

jimmy, he has the hypertech but know one knows how to remove the speed limiter.

sharx, he actualy does out quick me its when i catch him is when he hits the limiter. i only have after market intake and exhaust no programmer YET!!!! im just glad he hasnt had any problems because i know it would embarreess him watching me tow him home.

 

Get a programmer and smoke him.

Do you know what model of hypertech he has?

I would call hypertech. I looked on their website and I couldn't find anything. They advertise that you can raise the speed limiter, so it has to be there somewhere.
