The dealer will be able to tell you definitively which flashes have been done.

You should be sure you have this one. TSB 18-033-07 The technician is suppose to place an engine modification sticker in your engine compartment after performing a flash. Look around the radiator bracket by the overfill bottle. You can also look on the PCM (firewall passenger-side) for a sticker. Your looking for a part number that ends in AU (image below shows old version AT) [hr]

Sabersix,

I do have a sticker like that but the number is different. Number I have is 5535 1105AT. I don't have a clue as to what any of the "flash" number mean. Is there a list telling what the flash numbers are for? And if there is, where do I look to find it? Thanks for the info.

It is just a Dodge part number with the version of the software at the end. You have version AT which came out in June. You want version AU which came out in late August. The part numbers are slightly different base on 2500 vs 3500 and auto vs manual. I don't have a list of part numbers.

BTW, add you truck info to your signature (My Profile) so we can all tell what kind of truck you have. Also, welcome to the forum!

Sabersix,

Thanks for the info. I'll contact my dealer and tell them I want the latest version "flashed".
Love the power in this new motor. The 5.9 was nice too, but my needs outgrew the 2500 series frame/body. I need the 1 ton suspension. Our 5th wheel is very large and our 2500 was at the limit for weight. Pulled nice but the ride was suffering.
